Can’t even tell you how much fun we had on this shoot. Ashley told me everything had to be western! One of the things I love is working with my brides to figure out exactly the kind of sessions that make there personalities come flying through. We started at an old red barn I came across on a bike ride. We then ventured into a completely mosquito infested field of golden something or ‘nother. We got the pics and got out. No malaria so we’re all good. We finished up at the OKC stockyards at sunset! It was pretty sweet!
Ashley and Colter’s wedding in Ponca City this fall is going to be off the charts. It’s on her parent’s ranch. Ceremony on a cliff overlooking the lake, reception and dance in the old barn, and it’s rumored there might be a little homemade moonshine at the reception. Aside from all this amazingness…these two are fantastically genuine, happy, and totally in love! I love that they are planning a wedding full of details that fit them perfectly. I’m getting to work with a lot of brides like that lately and it’s super fun helping them plan there big day! I have the best job ever! Thanks Ashley and Colter for picking me to shoot your wedding!
